Coop: Community happens here

At Voyagers Homeschool Coop, our flagship program, families gather each week to learn, share our knowledge and interests, and have fun. Members attend on the same weekday for the entire 13–week fall or spring session. Families can attend more than one Coop Day per week for an additional fee.

Coop families collaborate to create programs that satisfy the interests of that day’s community. Along the way, children, teens, and adults cultivate deep friendships, many of which extend beyond our building’s walls. Voyagers Coop offers a wide variety of study groups, clubs and activities designed by members and led by parents and youth. Programming is dynamic and changes each Coop session as families develop new topics to meet the changing interests of their Coop Day.

Voyagers Coop is neither a drop-off program, nor a school; we don’t keep academic records, prescribe curricula, or assign grades. Families who participate in our Coop retain full responsibility for their children’s education.

Coop Day Members are expected to participate in planning and running their Coop Day.
